What does Juspy mean?

Juspy is a made up word but it encompasses all our beliefs and values as a brand in a playful way. We believe in being yourself without passing apology to anyone. Just be you. Juspy is the phonetical spelling of that phrase. Juspy You.


Where did the label design come from?

Leonie studied fine art in college and worked as a visual artist for ten years, so she has a string appreciation of all things visual. When working with the brilliant design team she said she wanted this label to be different and at that she was introduced to Hedof, an amazingly talented illustrator. He was given a brief about how all of the ingredients combined together nourish every cell in the body. He designed the artwork based on the product itself in his signature style.


What is it made from?

Our drink is made from coconut milk, cacao, coconut sugar, collagen protein, chicory root fibre, sunflower seed butter, flax oil, natural orange oil, camucamu berry and Himalyan pink salt. That’s it. Nothing else. No artificial sweeteners, no added sugar, no stabalisiers or other bad stuff.


How many calories are in the drinks?

Each bottle contains 243Kcal


It is high in fat, does that mean its fattening?

We believe in good wholefood calories and we love the good fats. Our product contains coconut milk and sunflower seed butter – two foods that are full of goodness. They are fats but they are the good guys in our opinion.


Is it dairy free?

There is no milk in this product or other dairy ingredients so yes it is.


Is it gluten free?

Yes it is


Does it contain nuts?

No but the sunflower seed butter is made in a factory that handles nuts


Are all your products suitable for vegans?

Not at the moment as we use collagen protein from the cow. However, we are in the middle of product development for a plant based product that will be on the market soon.


What are the benefits?

Its readymade, quick and easy. It keeps you fuller longer. Give you sustained energy. It satisfies your chocolate cravings and sneaks the good stuff in. Its high in protein, a source of fibre, magnesium and iron too.


Where are your products made?

Our products are made in Moorepark, Teagasc, Fermoy.


The product is a little more expensive that smoothies on the market, how come?

We have chosen the best ingredients for this product and over half of them are organic. You are paying to quality.


What’s the story with the plastic bottles?

You wouldn’t believe how difficult it is as accompany to make decisions because every decision has 10 knock on effects. First and foremost we wanted this product to be clean label, so for that we paid a price. In order for us to use High Pressure Processing to lengthen the shelf life and to maintain the integrity of the product we had to use a plastic bottle that can withstand the water pressure. It’s not ideal but we are a young company and we are constantly researching better solutions. When we get one we will change it. That is our plastic promise.


What is PET?

PET is the material certain plastic bottles are made from. This means they can be recycled.


Are your products suitable for diabetics?

Our product contains coconut sugar. It is a natural sugar claiming to be low GI. So while it is natural and better than refined sugar or other alternatives it is still a sugar. Everything in moderation.


Does it taste of coconut?

No, it tastes like a chocolate orange melted Easter egg.


What is the shelf life on your products?

With High Pressure Processing we can get 40 + days shelf life from the day it is produced.


How should I store it?

This product must be kept in the fridge less than 5.


Can I freeze it?

We have frozen it and it thaws out well over night.
